About
The “Raw Materials Week” is the premier policy event on raw materials, organized annually by the European Commission since 2016. Drawing over 1,000 participants from industry, government, civil society, research, and academia, it serves as a hub for critical discussions and networking. The 2024 edition will be held from 9 to 13 December 2024 in Brussels.
Distinguished speakers from raw materials and strategic sectors like batteries, digital technologies, defence and space will address critical topics during the event. Discussions will include derisking raw material projects with EU and EU countries’ funding, technology and innovation through digital and cutting-edge solutions, boosting domestic supply, enhancing circularity with rare earth permanent magnets, markets trends, and maintaining high environmental and social standards. Cooperation with strategic international partner countries will also be a key focus.
As part of the program, the RM Week SCRREEN-IRTC event will take place on Tuesday, 10 December, in the Versailles Room at the Hotel Le Plaza, Brussels.
