Brussels, 9-13 December 2024
As part of the European Commission’s flagship Raw Materials Week, SCRREEN project will organise a dedicated session entitled “Critical Raw Materials Intelligence – From Data to Decisions.”
The event will take place on Tuesday, 10 December 2024, in the Versailles Room, Hotel Le Plaza, Brussels.
Co-organised with the European Commission and the IRTC (International Round Table on Materials Criticality – EIT RawMaterials), the session will convene policymakers, industry leaders, researchers, and civil society to examine how cutting-edge data, indicators, and methodologies can translate into actionable decisions across EU value chains.
Participants will explore:
- Emerging approaches to assessing materials criticality, supply risk, and strategic dependencies;
- How trusted data and interoperable tools can inform investment, permitting, and policy design;
- Practical pathways to strengthen EU resilience through substitution, recycling, and diversified sourcing.
The programme will feature policy insights, methodological showcases, and moderated discussions aimed at accelerating evidence-based decisions in support of Europe’s green and digital transitions.
