A 36-MONTH PROJECT TO strengthen EUROPE’s CRITICAL RAW MATERIAL strategy

Based on the experience and background of SCRREEN and SCRREEN2, the prolongation of the project SCRREEN3 will continue to develop and animate an Expert Network which will contribute to expert advice in support of decision-making at the EU level covering all the raw materials and their value chains screened in the CRMs assessment.

The SCRREEN Network is operated by the Horizon Europe SCRREEN3 Project which is coordinated by the French Bureau De Recherches Geologiques Et Minieres (BRGM).

OBJECTIVES

Improve EU official statistics and to further build the EU knowledge base of primary and secondary raw materials.

Strengthen and develop an EU expert network and community covering all raw materials screened in 2023 the CRM assessment.

Flexibly support the Commission in policy making related to CRMs in general or linked to specific applications or sectors; as well in relevant events organized by the Commission.

Support the Commission in the analysis of the future supply and demand of raw materials, policy and technology gaps and innovation potential along the raw materials value chains.

SCRREEN3 CONSORTIUM

SCRREEN3 is coordinated by the French Geological Survey (BRGM). The consortium comprises 15 partners and 8 affiliated entities from 12 countries.
